Muriel’s French Quarter: Haunted 👻

Located at the corner of Jackson Square, is one of the most haunted restaurants in New Orleans, Muriel’s. One of the owners, Mr. Jourdan, lost this home in a poker tournament. He couldn’t stand to sign over the deed, so he hung himself in the “red room”, also known as the seance room. The ghost has been known to throw plates, knock decorations off the walls, as well as stomp up and down the stairs trying to scare the guests at the restaurant. So to appease him, the staff sets a place setting for him for dinner and gives him all the red rune he wants. At the end, you will see that my wife had the double cut pork chop (one of the best I’ve ever had) and I had the pecan crusted black drum fish. Both very delicious.
