As part of Mission Bhagiratha, about 1.30 lakh km stretch of pipelines would be laid to quench the thirst of Telangana towns and villages. Water for this mammoth project would be sourced from Krishna and Godavari Rivers.

Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply department is executing the project.
