This video shows an RNG manipulation method in Boktai 2 that lets you spawn rain and get Kaamos quicker.

Make sure it's daytime, as solar bugs advance RNG when they light up.
Make sure no sunlight is hitting the sensor.
Save+reset inside a building in San Miguel south (except the Warehouse).
Exit the building 4 times.
Wait for rain to start. Rain checks occur every 3 to 4 minutes of game time while outside with no sun. (Note: in this video I saved the game right before a rain check.)

It takes a total of 10 minutes of accumulated exposure to rain to get Kaamos. If you don't get it the first rain cycle, just enter the building again, save, and repeat. For the purpose of this video I skipped ahead to having just shy of 10 minutes of exposure built up. Kaamos wears off with exposure to sunlight; with 1 peg of sun it takes 50 minutes, with 10 pegs it takes 5 minutes.

Though Kaamos is not very useful on Django, it's beneficial to get on Sabata, since it allows him to charge in direct sunlight and protects him from taking damage. If you get him cursed during the brief section where you control him after clearing the Remains, you will be able to enter Spiral Tower later in the game while a Sunny Clog is active. This lets you beat the whole game without any sunlight ever hitting the sensor. Also, it makes it much easier to purify Black Django.
