Apple's Being Forced to Redesign the iPhone.

So Apple thinks even Android users should be angry about the EU's new law. In case you missed it, the EU is forcing all devices to have a USB-C port. But before this law passed, leaks already showed that USB-C will be in the iPhone 15. So why is Apple so angry?

They said that this law is terrible for 3 reasons. With the last one being the most important.

3. USB-C might not be the right solution. Apple pointed out that a few years ago, the EU tried to enforce the older Micro USB as the common standard. But because the law didn't pass, people invented much better cables.

2. This won't save waste. Apple said that more than 1 billion people use Apple devices with lightning chargers.

1. This will slow innovation. An example was that Apple might want to make a phone that only has wireless charging. But that wireless charger technically will have a wire, so the design might be illegal.
