After the major shortage of food and power outage, now Pakistan’s currency is at Rs 255.43 against US Dollar. Earlier the Pakistan government relaxed the exchange rate to get more loans from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The Pakistani rupee plummeted by Rs 24.54 or 9.61 percent to Rs 255.43 from Wednesday's market closure of Rs 230.89, according to the data of the State Bank of Pakistan. This is the highest record of hitting low after 1999 which was 9.4% down. Our consulting editor Srinjoy Roj said that the economy is dying out in Pakistan. First thing Pakistan can do is reduce military spending which is aimed at India.
