Plein Air Painting in Oils at Praa Sands Cornwall in the wind, rain and sunshine - a typical Summer evening in Cornwall!

This painting began life en plein air on the beach and then the elements took over and forced me back into the studio to complete it. I don't mind too much though as this is how I like to work with a mixture of outdoor and indoor painting with oils.

Basil joined us for this adventure as he loves the beach. We were also joined by surfers, body boarders, dog walkers and fishermen so look out for them in the video.
