Come and join us as we go for a 2 day break in Barwon Heads. Nestled between Geelong, Torquay and Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads is a lesser known town which is home to the 13th Beach Golf Course where the annual Vic Open is played. The accommodation is located within a gated community and the 2 bedroom suite we stayed in was magnificent. We would highly recommend booking for a family or group of friends. The team at the clubhouse are very welcoming and helped us with everything to get on the course for a hit of golf. We felt relaxed and enjoyed playing through the 9 holes on the short course and it's a great way for beginners to practice their swing. There are a number of excellent options for food around 13th beach, the standout we tried was Tommy Gunns located in the Barwon Heads town centre. It's a small restaurant that execute their dishes well and make you feel right at home. For dinner we tried a busy Chinese restaurant in Ocean Grove called Mings Terrace. The portion sizes were generous and all the dishes were a few notches better than your average Chinese takeaway place.
