MSR Access 2 Review - 4-season tent (with comparisons to MSR 3-season tent)

UPDATE - Oct 2020

I've started to use the tent on wild camping and campsite trips now! It's been lovely and warm and I definitely notice the difference between the Hubba and the Access for warmth. The campsite trip I had ice on the tent but was still lovely and warm and on a recent trip to the Lake District it was great - maybe a little too warm as I pitched next to a tarn in a sheltered spot! Not tested in strong winds yet but will update when I have! Had a small amount of condensation the second time but it was probably warmer than I thought! I did unzip the inner door and that helped. First review of the MSR Access 2 - in the garden!

Although I've only had a chance to use the MSR Access 2 tent in my garden, I share the main features of this tent. (MSR gifted me this tent, but all thoughts and opinions are my own - as you'll notice!)

But also include comparisons to the 3-season MSR Hubba which I've used over 70+ times in less than a year, yes I keep count! The MSR Access and the MSR Hubba have similar features but the Access is a more robust tent for harsher weather conditions.

This is a basic review of the main features of the MSR Access 2 (2 person tent) and will be followed up by a second review once I've tested the tent out fully. It will probably be later in the year now as the tent isn't suited to summer conditions. Plus at the moment, I'm still in my garden!
