Sulu Homecoming Part 1 Jolo, Sulu ... In Memory of Mr. Coffee (You are Home)

An unexpected trip for a homecoming in 2023. We left Jolo in 1974 after the burning of the city (Jolo Siege February 1974). I have little memory as a child of my father's hometown. I cherish the stories told by my grandmother and father about how we left our home and survived the night of the siege.

As i step into the beautiful land of Sulu again, I also came to see it as my father holds it dear to his heart. You are home now. I came to understand him and his stories, specially about the famed beaches of Sulu.

Mother, this is our homecoming for father.
