How many of you work at a job that ‘pays the bills’ or even one that you love, but…

A job you’d leave in a heartbeat if you could make the same money (or more) and be the boss at the same time? Sounds a bit too good to be true, right? Well…

This week’s SMB Deal Hunter Pro alumni interview with Reagan hits on that exact feeling.

It’s also a masterclass on how quickly you can make that change while keeping your full-time job. (he did it in 5 months, start to finish)

Reagan had spent 5 and a half years in corporate tech sales and he was killing it.

He beat his quotas by 300%, 400%, and 500% three years in a row. He was, by all accounts, stacking cash.

And then he went on a birthday trip in February with his girlfriend to Cabo and when the trip was coming to a close, he told her, "I really don't wanna go back to work next week. I gotta figure something out."

Like a lot of people who end up buying a business, he had always wanted to do it but had no idea how.

And while he was making great money in his job, he didn’t have all the other things he wanted.

The ability to actually make all the decisions.

Unlimited earning potential.

The ability to take time off when he wanted, not having to ask his boss.
