The municipal manager of Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality has been given forty eight hours to give reasons why he should not be put on precautionary suspension. The appointed administrator issued Mokgele Mojaki with a letter stating the intention to suspend him. The administrator has been appointed to run the municipality for a year.
The council has been dissolved. It's alleged the municipality failed to provide basic services.
