Vertical Storytelling of Park Chan-wook

Описание к видео Vertical Storytelling of Park Chan-wook

Decision to Leave in theaters in the US, UK, Canada, and Ireland.
In depth video coming soon on my channel; stay tuned!

Why let everyone speak, when you can simply move them vertically?
Here's an interesting concept found in the legendary South Korean filmmaker, Park Chan-wook's films: every pivotal narrative point, represented by a vertical movement.

Of course, this doesn't always apply (nor is it an absolute truth even from the examples I give) but it can be a valuable tool and a concept to think about for our own filmmaking journeys to 'spice up' the scene a little bit, given the right context as explained in the video.
