Do you feel guilty for putting your loved one with dementia in a nursing home?

Today, I want to talk about a topic that came up in my Care Course- guilt over putting your loved one in a nursing home. Sometimes, Careblazers can struggle with enjoying themselves because their loved one is in a nursing home. The Careblazer may not be able to enjoy friends, going out to eat, the movies, or anything at all for that matter. The kicker is that, whether or not you enjoy doing nice things for yourself, your loved one is still in a nursing home. There's no changing that. I also just want to say that if you enjoy yourself while your loved one is in a nursing home, it doesn't mean anything bad about you...I promise. You are still an amazing careblazer.
