This chunky, soft cover floral journal, Roses and Posies, celebrates the small flower bouquets, or posies. The Posy or nosegay, is a small bouquet of flowers that express a sentiment through the language of flowers. The cover has many vintage laces, and a rose journal charm on a coffee stained muslin tie closure, backed by teal paper. There are many embellishments and pieces of ephemera including: floral seed envelopes for notes, lace covered envelope, lace and floral fabric pockets, lace embellished tags, glassine mini journal with tags, paper cluster pad, vintage doily, folio with tag, vintage book page tag and envelope, window tag, and language of flowers list. There are 61 pages in two signatures in a 1 1/2 inch spine. The pages are coffee stained paper, and vintage book pages, with many pages edged with lace or fabric ruffles. The journal is 6.5 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide. The journal comes gift wrapped in brown kraft paper tied with string. Only one available. This journal is handmade and intended to have a vintage distressed look.
