🌸DIY WIPE RECIPE🌸

INGREDIENTS:

☀️3 cups water (boiling to sterilize)

☀️1/2 Paper towel roll: a sturdy, thick paper towel brand, we use the Kirkland’s brand from Costco, but any other thick paper towel like Bounty would work well. (I cut the paper towel roll in half with a chef knife on a stable cutting board)

☀️2 Tablespoons Organic Coconut Oil https://amzn.to/3y8TvCw

☀️2-2.5 Tablespoons Dr. Bronner’s Castille Soap https://amzn.to/3QCmplF

☀️6 drops Lavender Essential Oil (optional)

☀️Sturdy, air-tight container to hold the wipes (64oz containers work well) like this one: https://amzn.to/3OqVwPr

☀️Glass container to mix solution in. I use this one: https://amzn.to/3bgItSn

☀️(Optional) Reusable Silicone Storage Bags (great for storing extra wipes in your diaper bag or purse): https://amzn.to/3y5vLio

DIRECTIONS:

1. Boil 3 cups of water to sterilize. I use this glass container https://amzn.to/3bgItSn to mix all the ingredients.
2. Add the coconut oil, Dr. Bronner’s soap, and lavender oil (optional).
3. Stir well. Wait for the solution to cool (45 minutes to an hour)
4. Pour 1/2 of the solution into the wipe container and then place the paper towel roll into the container to soak up the solution. Then flip the paper towel roll upside down to let gravity pull the solution down to saturate. Slowly pour remaining 1/2 of solution on top of the paper towel roll to saturate.
5. Remove brown cardboard tube
6. Put the lid on and squish down the paper towel roll.

That’s it! Enjoy soft baby wipes that you made at home for a fraction of the cost of store-bought wipes.

Hey! I’m Adrienne, Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist from LearnWithAdrienne.com and you want to help your child:
☀️communicate clearly
☀️listen well
☀️gain life skills

In my YouTube videos, I teach a variety of strategies to help children learn to talk, but in my online class for children, I teach much more in-depth, revealing the actual step-by-step system I use with my own speech therapy clients to get them from saying only a handful of words to talking in sentences and having conversations. My online class is structured with checklists and printouts where you can track your child's progress.

So zooming out, my YouTube videos teach the “what” and my online class teaches the “how.” The goal of the online class is to give you the skills needed to plug in the speech strategies into your daily life with your child and to implement the building blocks, strategies, and concepts during meal time, car riding time, play time, outdoor time, etc.

Here is more info about the class so you can see if it would be a good fit for what you are looking for with your child.

The Steps to Help Your Child Learn To Talk: https://www.learnwithadrienne.com/ste...

Potty training can be an overwhelming experience for you and your toddler.

There are so many big words and ideas to discuss with your little one as they're mastering this important life skill.

It can be especially challenging if your toddler isn't saying many words or is resistant to directions.

Did you know you can use a simple song to help potty train your toddler and strengthen their communication?

For thousands of years, people have used songs to teach their children about the world.

Whether it's a lullaby to soothe at night or a song to pass the time on a long family car ride, music is a powerful tool to help our kids understand and better articulate their needs.

Check out our potty training experience and learn the special song my husband came up with to help potty train our toddler.

P.S. For safety, always fully supervise your child when doing activities that I recommend in my videos.
