Green Index 3.0 Training Series: Managing Environmental Risks and Opportunities

Описание к видео Green Index 3.0 Training Series: Managing Environmental Risks and Opportunities

The Green Index is a comprehensive framework for assessing the environmental performance of financial services providers (FSPs) and formulating action plans for improvement. Developed by the e-MFP Green Inclusive and Climate Smart Finance Action Group (GICSF-AG) in 2014, it underwent updates in 2016 (Green Index 2.0) and 2022 (Green Index 3.0).

In its role of fostering and supporting inclusive finance stakeholders committed to environmental protection and building climate resiliencies, the GICSF-AG is pleased to invite all professionals working on green inclusive finance to participate in a series of four free online trainings on the Green Index 3.0 framework.

Session 3 will focus on: Standard GI 3.0.2 – Managing Environmental Risks and Opportunities

Trainer: Davide Forcella, JuST Institute and GICSF-AG Lead Expert

Learning objectives:
Gain an initial understanding of the GI 3.0.2 standard and related best practices.
Develop the basis for assessing the status of your institution regarding managing environmental risks and opportunities and identify gaps that require action.

During the session, the GICSF-AG aims to collect data on the GI 3.0.0 standard from the financial services providers participating in the sessions. These data will be analysed and reported on an anonymous basis and the aggregated results will be shared during 2025 through the GICSF-AG webpage. The data will also allow to identify good practices that can be showcased by the GICSF-AG in its future activities.

Participants in the four sessions per standard will receive a certificate of participation in the e-MFP GICSF-AG training series on the GI 3.0 Framework. Please note that you need to register independently for each of the 4 sessions (see GICSF-AG webpage for more information).
