I use Cetuem https://www.cetuem.com/collections/na... as I think it gives the most natural looking color, but there are other great brands such as Redken and Clairol. And there's E-Salon, a subscription service, too.

Here's the lowdown on how to touch up those pesky gray roots:

1. Assemble all your tools:
Color developer
Plastic bowl
Combs
Plastic gloves
Old towel
Old T shirt

2. Mix the developer and the colour in the plastic bowl using your plastic spoon.

3. Part your hair air and use the brush to apply some colour on either side of your parting. Then continue by making another parting and doing the same thing again and one side of your head and flip over your hair and do the other side. While you're still upright, do the crown of your head – don't forget to do it like I did in the video! Then bend forward and feel your way doing a parting and colouring both sides as you did with the front.

4. Once you've covered all the areas, set your timer for 30 minutes and go and do something else. After 30 minutes come back to the bowl where you should still have some colour left and apply the rest of the colour to your hair and leave it for another 15 minutes.

5. After 45 minutes get in the shower and rinse off all the colour then shampoo and conditioner as normal.

6. Use a microfiber cloth or similar and wipe off any bits of dye that might just touching tips of your ears or your neck or around your face - it should come off very easily.

7. Dry/style hair as normal.

Et voila!
