How to make an ugly drywall ceiling beautiful again

This is part two of the 2015 ugliest ceiling transformation series. This video will display the hideousness of the ceiling all the way through to where it's transformed into a beautiful primed and ready for paint ceiling.

First I scraped the peeling ceiling down using the 8 inch drywall knife.

Second, I repaired the couple of tape joints and also skim coated the whole ceiling with all-purpose joint compound.

Once that was dry I skip trowel texture the entire ceiling.

Lastly, I primed the ceiling with a Zinnser 123 stain blocking primer.
