You harvest your Calla Lily seed pods before the frist hard freeze or when the seed pod stems die back which ever comes first. If they pods freeze it can kill the seeds inside each section of the pod. There can be from 1 to 5 seeds in each kernel segment that makes up the seed pod. The pod can have over a hundred seeds inside all of the kernels.
