Most days lately have been a quiet rhythm of work and home. But this week felt different — I finally picked up creativity again, and it felt like coming back to myself.

I drove to my hometown on a foggy morning with chalk markers in my bag, and drew little pictures on big windows to help birds see the glass and stay safe. Three windows, three different designs, and a moment of peace that reminded me why I love creating.

The next day I took on a bigger project — building a tiny doll bed for my friend’s daughter completely from scratch. Designing, cutting, sanding, burning patterns into the wood, sealing it — piece by piece I could feel myself coming alive again.

This week reminded me that creativity doesn’t have to be perfect or planned. Sometimes it’s just about making something with your hands and letting it recharge your spirit.
