Flight Review - Garuda Airlines from Jakarta to Bali Denpasar - and back again! Economy class...

I flew to Jakarta on SriLankan on what may be the best Tier Point run in the world... Which gave me the choice - stay in Jakarta, fly straight back to Abu Dhabi (although you can't fly straight on a back to back as Jakarta airport is too large) or to head on somewhere else... I wanted to spend a couple of nights in Jakarta but was keen to move on and Bali was the obvious choice...

When I looked closer, I found a quite astonishing 9 airlines that fly between those two cities and I plumped for Garuda - always fun to fly a nation's flag carrier out of their capital city. They are also the only airline servicing that route to be a member of a global alliance.

Indonesia's airlines have a poor reputation, which I address in the video, but I'm pleased to report that this was a great experience!
