JetBlue E190 Flight PIT-BOS

Описание к видео JetBlue E190 Flight PIT-BOS

After years of flying on JetBlue's Embraer 190, I was finally able to snag a ride on the only E-190 in the fleet painted in a special livery! This eye-catching design was first introduced in February 2017, and is a playful take on the inner-workings of this Brazilian-made 100-seat workhorse. Before 2017, this aircraft was originally named "Midnight Blue", and N249JB was named "Blueprint", having a standard "barcode" tail design. Shortly after they unveiled this new paint job, N249JB was renamed "To Blue Beginnings". I didn't think I was going to be making a trip report, based on the consistency of which this route has been covered by other YouTubers & Myself. After having to spend another day in the Pittsburgh area due to severe weather in Boston, I was very hopeful I would be getting on the early-morning flight home when I was automatically rebooked. My issues came when I tried checking in on the app. I wouldn't let me. After calling customer service & trying to check in over the phone, I was told they couldn't confirm my reservation & that the best thing to do was to go to the airport and physically talk to an agent. That's all well and fine, but if customer service couldn't find my confirmation code, I was afraid they may have overbooked the flight, as several PIT-BOS flights had been cancelled that weekend. I was able to get a hotel nearby incase I did have to stay another night. Thanks to two awesome JetBlue agents at PIT, I was confirmed to be on the early morning flight, which had already been delayed three and a half hours at that point. The agent wasn't able to check me in on the computers in the landside terminal for some reason, so she took the time to go all the way to gate B29 just to see if I was confirmed on the flight and print me a paper boarding pass. Considering the size of PIT, that's some great customer service! She could have simply rebooked me on a flight leaving the next day and moved on to the next passenger, but she stopped everything else she was doing to help me! Major shoutout to everyone who works at that airport. There truly is a sense of pride in everyone who works there that I've talked to! I mentioned the walled-off end gates of concourse B at PIT, I thought they haven't done much with that end area yet and figured it still looked the same as when US Airways flew out of there. I found out they're actually using that area as a place to test out different paints, materials, and technology that will eventually be incorporated into the rest of the terminal when they start renovating the existing gates.
