Just as the toy building blocks can be used to create castles, cells

A cell is the smallest basic unit of life, and it's
responsible for all of life’s processes.
Cells are the structural, functional, and biological
units of all living beings.

Size of the Cell
Most cells are very small. Some cells are very large.
Examples
• Common plant or animal cells
They are between 0.005 and 0.1 mm long.
• Bacteria
They are usually smaller than this.
• An unfertilized bird egg
It contains only one egg cell.

1 Unicellular organisms:
They are organisms made up of only one cell.
Ex. Bacteria
2 Multicellular organisms:
They are organisms that have more than one cell.
Ex. Complex organisms, such as humans, animals and plants.
