MICA PARIS My One Temptation EXTENDED VIDEO MIX

I've re-edited the concept video for Mica Paris' and her debut single 'My One Temptation' with an extended mix. It is amazing now, and then too, that Mica was just 19 when she recorded and released her debut album 'So Good' in 1988. I was hooked immediately; at first by her exotic beautiful looks and then by that sublime voice. It is also astounding that Mica's music never translated to big time American success. Admittedly here in Australia I had to be especially enterprising to find her albums in the ensuing decades. Nearly 30 years on; the voice is no less powerful; although deeper and without the sweet edge it once had (ah, youth). With singers like Jaki Graham, Beverley Knight, Michelle Gayle and Rebecca Ferguson among others, Britain has generated some excellent R&B/Soul singers to match those from other countries. I absolutely loved Mica's comeback set 'Born Again' in 2009 and the incredibly catchy 'Baby come back now' as well as the poignant and powerful title track. There's lots of great music among Mica Paris' discography. 'My One Temptation' was her first and what would turn out to be her biggest chart success. I hope that there is more music to come....
