1 Year of Competitive TF2: What I learned

Описание к видео 1 Year of Competitive TF2: What I learned

I probably should have clipped more as the seasons went on, but oh well. This video was written up and recorded as soon as my team made playoffs for IM (we've been eliminated since then, but still going to Main) as a gut-feeling reaction, but slightly cleaned up to reflect my thoughts better. Since then I haven't really changed how I feel about what I've learned from the seasons of 6s, Highlander, and Prolander that I've played. I want to see the scene grow, and take more responsibility as time goes on. I want to see players create content about competitive, whether it's just screwing around in a PUG, or how to effectively use Pyro in a full-time environment etc. The quality doesn't have to be amazing, it just has to exist with some form of effort. I'm going to try to be the change I want to see in the world as I've learned quite a bit about video and audio editing while working for RGL, but my focus is still on RGL at the moment, so we'll see how long that takes.

If any of you are interested in Competitive TF2 I'd recommend checking out RGL in North America, or your respective region's league, DolphiN (from RGL) made a website called tf.plus that you can look at on how to get started. Newbie.tf or known as the Newbie Mixes is probably the best place to start, either by signing up for their team drive or just playing in some of their PUGs to get a feel for the game. Good luck to you that make that step!
