Fiancé of Murdered Florida Woman Chokes Up on Stand: ‘She Thought I Didn’t Kiss Her Goodbye’

The fiancé of a murdered Florida woman testified in the Cape Coral killing spree trial Monday. Diane Ruiz’s fiancé, Scott Hannon, explained what he remembered about the last time he saw Ruiz and the relationship the two had. Hannon testified that after he left for work on the day she disappeared, the two exchanged a text message about whether or not he kissed Ruiz goodbye. Wade Wilson is currently on trial for Ruiz’s murder. There is no known connection between Wilson and Ruiz.
