We’re following breaking news in Ashland County where authorities have closed a stretch of US 30 in both directions at state Route 511 due to a deadly crash involving two passenger vehicles and one semi.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol tells 3News that authorities responded to the scene around 6:04 a.m. Friday.

Two adults from the passenger vehicles were killed in the crash. One child was taken from the scene via Life Flight to the hospital.

Authorities say US 30 is expected to remain closed for several hours.

Drivers need to find an alternate route until further notice.
