500 OHC - The Legend from Jawa

In this video you will see a motorcycle that is extremely attractive to motorcycle collectors. The Jawa 500 OHC was the last motorcycle from Jawa with a four-stroke engine. It was also the last motorcycle from Jawa of its own construction, whose engine capacity was greater than 350 cc. In the period before the Second World War, Jawa produced motorcycles with a four-stroke engine and, for racing purposes, with a volume higher than 500cc, even supercharged with a compressor. In post-war Czechoslovakia, interest in small, cheap and simple two-stroke engines grew, so Jawa stopped producing four-stroke engines with a larger engine capacity.
