117 cadets of Cadet Training Class (CTC) II-22, completed a 5-mile run from the Academy in West Sacramento to the California State Capitol. Keeping with a long-standing tradition of prior cadet training classes, at the conclusion of the run, the Academy Commander, Captain Robin Johnson, addressed the cadets at the California Peace Officer Memorial. The completion of the cadet run was the culmination of 26 weeks of hard work and dedication, but also pays tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
