Sharkara varatti is an unavoidable dish in Onam sadya.
Sharkara varatti- 'sharakara ' means 'jaggery'. 'varatti' means cooking till dry.
Deep fried banana are coated with jaggery syrup .This syrup should be added at right consistency with spices to get crispy sweet chips.

Cumin powder 3/4 tsp
Dry ginger powder 1 1/2 tsp
Salt 1 pinch
Pepper powder 1 pinch
