Dr. Paradigm offers to help the government scientists with the Street Sharks. But before he can do them any damage, Lena Mack, Dr. Bolton's brilliant doctoral student and Bends, Fission University's technical wizard help them to escape. Trying to lure the Street Sharks back to him, Paradigm has his two earlier, less successful lab experiments, Slash and Slobster, kidnap Bends and inject him with Pirhana DNA. But as the Street Sharks come to Bend's rescue, Paradigm accidentally injects himself - transforming into the volatile, immensely powerful Dr. Paranoid who traps them in his Ultra Collider.
