The leaves are uneven yellowish and dry.
The solution :
You can put some aquatic plants such as water mustard, floating on the water, so that they can suck the additional nutrition inside the water and the soil. Or, you need to water it out so often. These ways can eliminate the additional nutrition quickly. Then, the colours of the leaves will be normal again.
The shortage of nutrition :
The leaves are uneven green because of the lack of nitrogen and magnesium, especially for the dark leaves. For the light leaves, it lacks of Manganese and Zinc.. The solution : you have to use fertilizer with a balanced nutrition, so that it can grow healthy and flowers quickly. I usually the mixture of 3-5 types of fertilizers (nitrogen, phospor, potassium- NPK). Yet, do not use too much NPK, since it can burn your plant. It is suggested to use the organic ones.

You can see the different colour of green between the dark old green leaves which are lack of nutrition and the old healthy green.
It is alright with the colour of the old healthy green. You just need to wait until it is dry,then cut it above the water.After that, cut it inside the water when it is already dry.
