I really like to simplify, and whenever I see something that might help — no matter which protocol you follow — I love to share it.

With Scottie Scheffler, it’s evident that he rehearses his motion in mini format before each shot — his pre shot routine swings.

I truly think he’s an old-school soul with some modern tweaks for performance.

In my opinion, he primarily uses the swing arc size as his power generator and engine, heavily stimulated with intentful body rotation. That’s why he practices the arc before every shot.

So how does he achieve such incredible distance control? Well, it helps to have had the same motion for 15 years — and it also helps to use the longest swing arc in golf. A longer, more consistent way of applying power.

I’m a big fan of his game and even copy this part in my own golf. It creates an execution layer that makes the game much simpler — and much easier to play with confidence.
