I do place ads (from 15th august 2021 no more video ads) on non copyright protected music to cover a part of my purchases.
this may seem unfair to some, as it is not my own content, but i have no moral problems with it, as i spend more money on music every month than i get back from youtube. It also gives me the opportunity to present my musical taste to a larger public and to support the artists I like directly which i could not afford otherwise.
