Описание к видео Political System of Pakistan Explained | Govt. structure of Pakistan | Constitution of Pakistan

this is a common topic of Pol Science, Constitutional Law, and Pakistan Studies.
Pakistan is a multiparty democracy where several political parties compete for seats in the National and Provincial assemblies. However, as an aftermath of the Fall of Dhaka in 1971, a two-party system was inculcated between the Peoples Party and Muslim League.
Pakistan's federal legislative branch consists of the President, the National Assembly as the lower house, and the Senate as the upper house. The National Assembly and Senate constitute Pakistan's bicameral Parliament. The National Assembly has 342 seats, including seats reserved for women and non-Muslims.
The Constitution vests the President with the powers of granting pardons, reprieves, and the control of the military; however, all appointments at higher commands of the military must be made by the President on a "required and necessary" basis, upon consultation and approval from the Prime minister.
