The Malaysian National Band Competition is an annual band competition sanctioned by the Malaysian Government and the Malaysia Band Association (PPM). The NATCOMP is now in its 19th edition since its inception in the 1980's.

The Malaysian World Band Competition is in its 3rd edition since its inception in 2009. The MWBC is recogniesed globally as one of Asia's leading band competitions.

More than 20 teams from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines made it to the finals which was held on July 6th at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
