Last week we had a little party but I immediately continued development and today I have the privilege to share it with you. We have a new map with new generation, all locations, timed lighting, new influence spread, and more.

This is the first week of v0.7 development. We'll be in this version for a little while, because it's important to give the world a real feel, so you'll understand where you are, where you can go, and what you can do.

I think that the map looks a lot better than previous weeks. I've also changed up the map menu overlay to make it more aesthetically pleasing than that ugly bar on the bottom from last week. I worked a lot this week and will be continuing with that energy into next week to add the taverns and everything associated with that mechanic. After that we can add a little main menu and make it to beta.

From cities and towns to camps and caves and everything in between, all locations are now on the map and you can go to them without needing to click through a boring menu. In v0.5 and v0.6 I focused on making the actual combat and gameplay fun, but you can't just have fun gameplay if the way to get there is made out of boring menus and stats. Edit: Welp there's a little bug that makes the travel time move to the right when zooming in on the map. That's fixed quickly.
