In a challenging rescue mission, the Indian Navy saved crew members stranded in the Gulf of Aden after a missile attack on their ship.
The Indian navy evacuated 21 personnel by helicopter and boat and the Injured rescued crew is receiving medical care in Djibouti.
The Barbados-flagged Liberian-owned bulk carrier, MV True Confidence was hit by a missile attack carried out by Yemen's Houthi rebels in the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday.
International efforts are underway to secure the shipping lane, with the US conducting airstrikes on Houthi positions.
Three people were killed in the attack, marking the first civilian casualties in the rebel group's campaign against commercial shipping in and around the Red Sea.
