Prince Rama Varma, accompanied by Sri S.R.Vinu, Sri B.Harikumar, Dr.S.Karthick and Payyannur Sri Govindaprasad, comes up with a magnificent rendition of the Swathi Thirunal Maharaja composition, Gangeya Vasana Dhara Padmanabha in the raga Hamir Kalyani, during a concert at the Swathi Sangeethotsavam Music Festival, which is held at the Kuthiramalika Palace in Trivandrum (where Maharaja Swathi Thirunal lived) from Januyary 4th to January 13th every year. The song is followed by delightful rounds of Varmaji's trademark swarams, followed by a beautiful Thaniyavarthanam by the three percussion Maestros.
