---- The Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the Jammu & Kashmir Reservation
(Second Amendment) Bill, 2019 that would pave the way of extending the benefit of reservation of up to 10% for "Economically Weaker Sections" in educational institutions and public employment alongside existing reservations.

---- Cabinet has decided to introduce bill to increase the number of Judges of Supreme Court from 30 to 33 (excluding Chief Justice of India).

---- Cabinet also approved Nutrient Based Subsidy rates for Phosphatic and Potassic fertilizers for the year 2019-20. The expected expenditure for release of subsidy during 2019-20 to be Rs. 22,875.50 crore.

---- Union Cabinet accorded approval to introduction of Chit Funds (Amendment) Bill, 2019 in Parliament, in order to fulfil the objectives of reducing the regulatory or compliance burden of the registered Chit Funds Industry as well as protecting the interest of the Chit subscribers.
Cabinet approved ISRO Technical Liaison Unit at Moscow; Unit to collaborate with Space agencies in Russia and neighbouring countries for mutually synergetic outcomes.
Union cabinet gave OBC commission an extension till January 2020 to facilitate it to discuss the anomalies with states and complete its work.
