NARROWBOATING On A ROMAN Canal | Fossdyke Torksey to Lincoln Ep 32

Описание к видео NARROWBOATING On A ROMAN Canal | Fossdyke Torksey to Lincoln Ep 32

We travel the oldest canal in the UK on our narrowboat, from Torksey to Lincoln through Saxilby. The Romans built the Fossdyke (Fosse Dyke) canal in around AD 120 to connect the River Witham with the River Trent, and it is the oldest canal in the UK still open.

Hello! We're Caroline and Pete, and in 2021, after 10 years living in Texas, we sold up and moved back home to the UK to live full time aboard a 60ft narrowboat with our West Highland Terriers! Join us in our day to day life as we continuously cruise the canals and rivers of the UK. All of the ups, and the downs and everything in between!
