Road&Paddock - BMW M135i - Bedford Autodrome Track Day- 18/07/22

Absolutely amazing day at Bedford Autodrome yesterday. It was great to finally get the M135i out on track and the car performed flawlessly! Apologies for the terrible wind noise but it was 41 degrees (106 Fahrenheit) so windows had to be down!

I have plenty of track time in my 182, but there was definitely a learning curve going from a 850kg FWD car with 200bhp, to a much heavier RWD car with 460bhp! Certainly a great track for exploring the limitations of a car, really allowed me to be overzealous and see how the car would respond.

I was running Michelin PS4 and while the grip level was phenomenal for a road tyre, I did have trouble trusting the tyre dipping into corners as there was a real lack of feedback or feeling. I've always ran stiff side wall track tyres so I guess this is to be expected!
