C3 Corvette Coolant, Brakes, Drive & more

Описание к видео C3 Corvette Coolant, Brakes, Drive & more

From brake system flush to adding fresh engine coolant to making a door vapor barrier, it's all covered in this video.

As I get my 1981 Corvette ready for regular driving and take it to local car cruise-ins, many items get crossed off the to-do list.

I even take it for a drive around my neighborhood and then for a longer shakedown drive. A few days after the first drive in months, I took it for a twenty-mile drive for a more comprehensive evaluation.

I even stopped by a local gas station to ensure it had plenty of clean fuel. Seven-month-old gasoline is questionable.

Since I removed several defective air-pollution components, the Check Engine light makes brief appearances from time to time, but that does not affect overall car running or performance.

I saved all those parts in case the new owner decides to repair and reinstall them.

The car feels powerful and it's fun to drive, and thanks to the new front calipers and brake system flush and fresh fluid, it stops on a dime.

The shifter is also very nice and precise, and it feels so much better than the one in my 76 Corvette.

Overall, this is a great car, so stay tuned for a video about the 1981 Corvette driving experience.

Thank you for watching! 🙂👍🏻
