The Promise Ring/Mineral - Live show at the 1021 8th Street basement in Minneapolis, MN on 1996/09/15.

This was the first Promise Ring show (out of four) and the first Mineral show (out of two) that I filmed between 1996 and 1997. I believe that The Promise Ring's first LP ("30º Everywhere") was released just days before this show. There's a brief break in their set to celebrate Chris Simpson's (Mineral) birthday while my friend Erika brought a cupcake up on stage with candles in it.
