In the late 90s a group of developers, inspired by mecha and a desire to push forward graphics for the PC, made a stellar 3D action game that should have gone on to become a classic. Except it didn't. Thanks to circumstances outside of their control the game was widely forgotten. So what happened? How did a promising PC title with so much going for it become as obscure as it is? Well the answer is a lot simpler than you'd think.

It was the dreamcast.
