Kappad
Kappad, or Kappakadavu locally, is a beach and village near Koyilandy, in the district Kozhikode, Kerala, India.
A stone monument installed by government commemorates the "landing" by Vasco da Gama with the inscription, 'Vasco da Gama landed here, Kappakadavu, in the year 1498

Kappad beach
The Kappad beach in Kerala's Kozhikode district has been accorded the prestigious 'Blue Flag' certification by FEE Denmark. Blue Flag beaches are considered to be the cleanest beaches
It is also known as Kappakkadavu. A visit to Kozhikode is incomplete without a visit to this legendary site. The spice route flourished through this Beach. A walk in and around the place gives one an idea of its historical relevance. Kappad Beach is a truly majestic destination, which will always hold an important place in our history.

Beypore beach
Beypore beach is an ideal beach destination for tourists as well as of historians. Located at the mouth of river Chaliyar about 10 kilometres away from Kozhikode town (Calicut) in Kerala
A walkway into the sea
A wonderful experience of walking a distance of one kilometer inside the sea through the 'Pulimuttu' , is the speciality of Beypore Beach. You can spend an evening with your family, in the pleasing atmosphere created by the Tourism Department of Kerala. The Pulimuttu leads you inside the sea for about one kilometer with waves from both sides embracing the walk-way, which makes you rejuvenated with the rare experience of sightseeing coupled with cool breeze from the sea.

Floating Bridge at Beypore
With a length of 100 metres and a width of 3 metres, the bridge offers tourists a unique experience. The bridge is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) blocks which float on the water.
There are railings on the sides for people to hold in order to prevent them from falling. There is a 15-metre wide platform at the end of the bridge for tourists to enjoy the scenic beauty while floating on the sea.
