Описание к видео Let's design Automatic Voltage Regulator AVR which has 5 to 7kW capacity for portable generating set

An automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is a solid state electronic device for automatically maintaining generator output terminal voltage at a set value. It will try and do this as the generator load or operating temperature changes. The AVR is part of the alternators excitation.

This time I will explain how to design a simple AVR that has a capacity of 5 to 7 KW.

I did all of that with the computer not with the hardware media, like PCB

Specification for Regulator and fitted generator
1. When Generator Output Voltage is 230V, the Sampling Voltage is 18V and 20V
2. During the time from without loading and with loading, the secondary winding voltage is less than 150V
3. During the time from without loading and with loading, the excitation current is less than 2.5A

note : transistor mj2955 stimulation only you can replace a horizontal flyback TV as 2SD1887 2SC5149 2SC5299 and other
