TEENAGE FUGUE.

Teenage years are tough for us all. They're shaped by whatever early experiences we encounter in our childhoods - for better or for worse - setting the stage for our inherently tumultuous teens. Some have a better roll of the dice than others (a.k.a. Privilege), but we all have to battle through. Up to this point, it's not the child's fault or making, but soon we will be responsible for ourselves.

The teens set us up for our adult lives, that can become a lifetime of struggle ahead, particularly if we haven't enjoyed the happiest or most stable upbringings. Many of us are left to fend for ourselves through adulthood, often without much support at all, haunted by whatever traumas we may have encountered. But, we battle on.

Teenage Fugue is a glimpse back into the mirrors and memories of earlier life. Where our unbridled optimism has been dampened by the realities (and raging hormones) of pre-adult societal realities, growing up alongside other uncertain, and often troubled, youngsters. These years shape who we are today.
