Quickest Summertime Knits! Never Lose a Water Bottle Again!

It's time for festivals and getting out in nature. This is the easiest and cutest summer knitting project to keep your water bottle close at hand without having to hold it! I made this on a 22-needle circular knitting machine you can even do it on a round knitting loom or even knitting needles . I hope you will give it a try. I think this would be an awesome festival project for production knitting and selling! You can even get the kids involved in making their own water bottle holders for day camps or away camps.
Make as many as you wish.

This also makes a great practice garment for toddlers and preschoolers to learn how to button things in the real world!

Materials:
approx. 35 gms Any Washable Yarn #4 Worsted
I'm using Red Heart Super Saver 100% acrylic
2 yards of waste yarn contrasting color
Tools:
22-needle circular knitting machine
Darning Needle / Yarn Needle
4.5 crochet hook
5.5 crochet hook

Pattern
How to Knit the Easiest Festival Water Bottle Cozy / Coozie
1. Cast on and knit 55 rounds
2. Cut 3-foot-long tail- drop it inside the knitted tube
3. Cast off with contrast color waste yarn
4. Bind the edge with a long tail doing a slip stitch
and single chain through all the main yarn loops.
5. Make chain cord (follow the steps in the video)
6. Thread cord through eyelets (single ch spaces)
7. Tie off and enjoy!
