Why learning piano online rocks
1. Online learning can be a great alternative for independent learners, people who are short on time, homeschooled students, and people who live in faraway places in the world. Also, not everyone has the budget to afford regular piano lessons with a teacher.
2. While it is definitely useful to have a teacher to guide you, encourage you, or correct your playing, it is entirely possible to learn piano online. You can even do a mixture of the two and use online learning to reinforce your one-on-one learning with a teacher. Even without regular lessons, you can learn and improve with online videos and tools.
3. You can still get advice from a real teacher online. Just send a teacher you know an email or message and someone is likely to respond.

Online learning can greatly expand the number of piano players in the world. The idea isn’t to replace traditional piano lessons, it’s to offer the opportunity to learn to many across the world.
